HAPPY ST PATRICKS DAY FOLKS!
Whether you are travelling abroad to celebrate or enjoying it right here in Ireland, it is always bound to be a goodun ;)
Just remember if you are in need of currency to prebook with us for the best rate of the day and no fees :)
Incase you are unaware we are commemorating the anniversary of the death of Irelands patron saint; St Patrick’s Day is a national holiday here and it is a showcase of Irish pride. Each year Ireland comes to life in bright green with traditional music sessions, cèilidh (Irish dance parties), costumes, comedy, and plenty of great craic in the pub. Subtle it is not haha.
The parade will start at Parnell Square at 12am and then will follow a 2.5km-long (1.5 mile) route along O'Connell Street, crossing the River Liffey into Westmoreland Street, before passing Trinity College. It will then go along Dame Street turning left at Christchurch Cathedral before ending at Saint Patricks Cathedral. It is all over by 2pm.
All of us here hope everyone has a great long weekend and remember when travelling we will buy back any unspent cash ;)
